Calling all artists! The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is officially seeking a creative designer to craft the official artwork for the 23rd Annual Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival. This is your opportunity to leave a lasting mark on one of the Gulf Coast’s premier spring events. Organizers are inviting talented artists from across the region to submit original designs that capture the vibrant spirit of the 2027 festival. The chosen artwork will serve as the centerpiece for the official festival poster and commemorative t-shirt, appearing on a variety of promotional materials and merchandise throughout the event.
Contest Guidelines:
- Theme: Submissions should reflect the festival’s unique blend of hot air balloons, art, music, and the Gulf Coast.
- Requirements: Designs must be original and clearly feature:
- “23rd Annual Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival”
- The year “2027”
- “Foley, AL”
- Medium: Only original, human-made artwork will be considered. AI-generated designs are not permitted.
- Dimensions: The final commissioned poster must not exceed 18 inches wide by 24 inches tall.
Submission Details:The deadline for all entries is Thursday, October 1, 2026. Submissions can be delivered in person to the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce at 200 N. Alston St., Foley, AL 36535, or mailed to P.O. Box 1117, Foley, AL 36536.Award:The selected artist will receive a $500 commission.
