Foley police arrested two adults after locating two missing or endangered juveniles in a vehicle on Highway 59. The case began with an alert from the Escambia County, Florida, Sheriff’s Department. Foley officers found the juveniles with their parents. Police later found drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
The Foley Police Department said it was contacted by the Escambia County, Florida, Sheriff’s Department on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The Florida agency reported that a vehicle linked to two missing or endangered juveniles from its jurisdiction might be in the Foley area.
Around 1:25 p.m. on May 30, Foley officers located the vehicle on Highway 59 north of the Section Avenue intersection. Officers identified both missing juveniles inside the vehicle. Police also identified the adults accompanying them as Zachary Brill and Kristen Dyar, the juveniles’ parents.
During the investigation, officers found fentanyl, psilocybin mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, according to police. The discovery led to criminal charges for both adults.
Brill and Dyar were each charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. They were also charged with Chemical Endangerment of a Child and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
After the arrests, the Escambia County, Florida, Sheriff’s Office was notified. The Alabama Department of Human Resources took custody of the children.
