Foley’s Music and a Movie event returns to Heritage Park for 2026 with new movies and activities, including patriotic themed events to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
The four-week series begins Friday, April 17.
The annual series includes a concert starting at 6 p.m at the park pavilion. The performance will be followed by a movie presented at dusk. Spectators can bring a blanket or chair to relax on while watching the movie and listening to the live performance.
This year, a scavenger hunt is planned to go along with other activities. More details on the hunt will be released on Visit Foley Facebook and Instagram sites.
The finale of the 2026 Music and a Movie series will include several events themed around America’s semiquincentennial celebration for the year. Among the activities planned for the May 22 evening are a line dance with 250 dancers and patriotic themed bounce houses for children.
Food vendors and bounce houses will be available during all four Music and a Movie evenings.
On April 17, Music and a Movie will include a performance by the Koontz Band followed by the movie “Wicked for Good.”
On April 24, MidLife Crisis will perform. The movie will be “Zootopia 2.”
On May 15, the concert will be by Chitlin Switch followed by the 2025 movie “Lilo & Stitch.”
The series will conclude May 22 with a performance by Strickly Rivers. The movie will be “National Treasure.”
The series will take place each Friday evening except for the first two weekends in May when the Gulf Coast Balloon Festival and Art in the Park take place in Foley.
