Most people have heard about the migration happening between high and low taxed states in the nation. In fact, Alabama has been a favorable landing spot for businesses and individuals alike. Foley has been official identified amongst towns with a population of 20k or more for having the 14th largest percentage increase.
It has been widely reported that Texas is a popular area for relocation in recent years. The U.S. Census Bureau Shows that 6 of the top 10 ranked in the same category. The town of Celina, Texas actually experienced a 24.6% increase in population.
The South is experiencing the fastest population growth in the United States, driven by migration, with the region adding over 1.3 million people in 2022 and maintaining momentum through 2025. Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, and South Carolina are leading this surge, particularly in medium-sized cities and suburban areas.

While some locals might feel the population surge is massive, it was estimated at 7.8%.
